This is the latest piece in the series of Secret Eye Love Tokens. Tiny gold seed beads alternate with bugle beads for the tendrils of this sun. The eyes are outlined with very small rhinestones and gold seed beads. A labor of love.

Some Blue Eyes and a Heart – Love Tokens

Here are the latest love tokens from my work table. The forms from paperwhimsy are the base of the pieces. Blue Eyes has several titanium coated crystal quartz pieces. The coating process uses electricity to deposit and bond the titanium layers to the quartz. The resulting color is a blue that is rich and pretty. I found them at the Gem Show that comes to the DC area a few times a year. Her crown is (imitation) gold leaf and there are several different types of beads on the piece including crystals and bugle beads.

The Heart Love Token has a rusted surface made with iron paint and a patina solution. It’s the smaller of the hearts on this page and is embellished with embossed paint, paper and a variety of glass crystal beads.
