Reborn as Day of the Dead Face June 8, 2016 by theresamartinart 6 Comments Before A friend said this girl looked very much like Alfred E. Newman. Once I saw it, I couldn’t un-see it. So I gave her a Day of the Dead makeover. It’s definitely different now. What do you think? Love it or hate it? After AdvertisementShare this:PinterestLike this:Like Loading...

I like both images, but I love the braids on you sugar skull girl because they set her apart from most others.

Thanks Sue, I appreciate the feedback.
I feel that neither way is my best piece, but it’s good to experiment sometimes.

To be honest I personally quite like the before but then that’s just me, what I gravitate towards and my personal preference:)

That’s okay Linda, I wanted feedback and that helps. Neither one is my favorite piece, but it’s good to experiment. Thanks!

You make me smile Theresa with how versatile and talented you are.
I like sugar skull art and your girl has taken on a distinctive attitude and persona!
Her halo with stars in the first piece was lovely as was she.
Both are my favorites for different reasons.

Thanks Patty! Your comment helps me to like both of them better. On to the next piece!
